Jefferson High School Student-Led Solar Project
Who We Are
We are a nonpartisan grassroots movement working to mobilize South Dakotans to take action to address the climate crisis. Through education and community-building, our volunteer-led teams are promoting local and state-level climate solutions and advancing a just transition to a sustainable future for South Dakota.
We are an independent affiliate of the international environmental organization 350.org. Together, 350 is organizing around the world to build a future that's just, prosperous, equitable, and safe from the effects of the climate crisis.
Our Pillars of Action
Building a Movement
Building foundations of support for climate action through education and community engagement
Advancing strong climate policies and supporting local and state-level renewable energy initiatives
Connecting organizations and South Dakotans across the state to strengthen the movement for a just and sustainable future
Solving the climate crisis requires all of us.
We are looking for South Dakotans with diverse knowledge backgrounds and skillsets to help us build momentum for climate action. No matter what level of commitment you’re ready to take, there is a place for you in our movement! You can donate, sign petitions, attend educational events, volunteer with one of our action teams, and more.
